The Union health ministry, which approved the new “online” method on Monday , decided to conduct the exam in October or November this year. Sources in the ministry disclosed that the file has already been sent for the approval of Union health minister and the final date of the test will be notified this week . Earlier, some senior health ministry officials has opposed thenew move to conduct common online test. They had advised that the old-pencil format should be used. Some Ministry officials does not want online NEET-PG

Summary of this article: Some ministry officers are trying to prevent online (CBT Mode) for Neet-PG. There is a official meeting to review this on Monday. NBE has already prepared plan to conduct a single online test for PG entrance on a CBT Mode (As has already been done for the DNB CET Aug 2012). If online test happens students will have option to choose the date of exam out of the 10 days of examination. (Although this has not happened in DNB CET and dnb schedule was predeclared and the time and date of exam was decided by NBE and students were not given any option to choose) A section of senior health ministry officials, whose children are all set to appear for the post-graduate medical entrance examinations, are apparently opposing the government’s move to conduct “common online test” for the entrance exams in the lines of the IIM.
